This program is for ages 2.5-5 years. It is a child lead program, facilitated by the educator, where your child will spend 3 hours outdoors, safely playing, and exploring with other children. As we play and use our imaginations, we will learn about the plants, trees, and animals we come across. Even worms, spiders and insects! Children will be prompted to think about their discoveries with open ended questions. As they will have the room to run, jump and balance in the surrounding environments, children will develop gross motor, problem solving skills and resilience. All this and they will also have the opportunity to build strong social-emotional skills as they learn how to help, encourage and play alongside other children.

Once a mother of homeschoolers, I understand the importance for homeschooled children  being able to come together and socialize with others. This program allows homeschooled children to spend time outdoors with others, immersed in nature, exploring and discovering together, while stretching our limbs and learning safe boundaries. This program fosters a positive environment where children will have an opportunity to develop creativity, imagination, and environmental awareness, through outdoor exploration and adventure. It gives kids a chance to connect not just with nature but with others, building deeper, more meaningful connections and a sense of belonging. Together we will play and learn, while getting the fresh air needed for healthy overall well being.

“When children play in natural spaces, they’re far more likely to invent their own games than in more structured settings – a key factor in becoming self- directed and inventive adults later in life” ~ Richard Louv
